True Blue

Here's another card I made for this weeks challenge on the Your Next Stamp blog. I used a stamp called Birthday Surprise Fhiona from Your Next Stamp for my image, omitting the balloons she came with. She looked so cheerful, and since I didn't want to make another birthday card, I used her for a thank you card instead. I think it works well. She's so versatile!
I also used the sketch on the Friday Sketchers blog for my design.

What do you think?

Ingredients -
Paper: Basic Grey, SU Bashful Blue Cardstock
Stamps: Your Next Stamp-Birthday Surprise Fhiona, SU Sentiment
Ink: Copic Markers; E000, E53, E55, E57, B91, B95, B97
Embellishments: Lace Ribbon (not sure of source), Cuttlebug Embossing Folder

Blue Skies

Happy Friday!
My friend and I stopped into a scrapbook shop I've never been in before and I found this little treasure - a stamp from 'Your Next Stamp'. Her name is Fhiona. So cute! Don't you think?

I've altered the stamped image slightly by adding two more balloons (the stamp has one). Since I wanted her to look like she was floating up in the clouds, I thought it was more practical for her to have a few balloons lifting her up. I also paper pieced the balloons. The sky was made by punching decorative paper with my SU scalloped oval punch. I got the idea from a card posted on Splitcoast Stampers here.

I made this card for this weeks challenge on the 'Your Next Stamp' challenge blog. To participate, check out the blog here.

Stamp: Your Next Stamp - Fhiona
Ink: Copic Markers; R30, R32, Y21, Y23, Y26, E000, E00
Embellishments: SU vintage brad, SU scallop oval punch

Kraftin' Kimmie's Gone Pink!

This weeks inspiration on the ABC Challenge blog is to make a pink card and the challenge is sponsored by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. They're my favourite stamps! I couldn't resist taking on this challenge.

For my card I used Judy from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. The sentiment came with the stamp too. What do you think?

Saturday Anya Sketch

I'm a sucker for a card sketch challenge! I love it. This weeks Saturday sketch on the Club Anya blog was no exception. Sometimes it brings me out of my comfort zone to try different layouts that I'd never think of trying. It can be so inpiring. ;)

Kraftin' Kimmie - Challenge #64

I'm partipating in an older challenge on the Kraftin' Kimmie blog. The challenges are such an inspiration! This challenge's theme is "Seeing Red" and our card must be mostly red. Well....it's my favourite colour! Loved this challenge! Since my eye is constantly drawn to red decorative paper, I had tons of it to choose from in my paper stash.

For my card I used Chester from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

The recipe challenge is to use 3 main colours, 2 patterned papers, 1 ribbon and 1 button. Oh boy!

For my card I used Gabrielle from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

Krafty Challenge #67

This weeks Kraftin' Kimmie challenge was to create a card using scallops. For my card, I used cutey, Judy. I just LOVE her! I used one of the sentiments that came with the stamp on my card. I love that most of the Kraftin' Kimmie stamps come with a sentiment. It makes things SO much easier, doesn't it?

Here's my card for the challenge:

Cheep! Cheep!

Yay! Spring is coming soon! I actually heard the birds tweeting outside the other day so I riffled through my stamps and found this cute little birdie. He's from the set called, "Cheep Talk" made by Stampin' Up.

I used my SU markers to ink up the stamps in different colours to create this image.

Farm Fresh Fun!

This card was made for this weeks Farm Fresh Challenge on The Greeting Farm Blog. The challenge is to use 2-3 different textures on your card/project. I added a blue corduroy brad (one of my faves), and dry embossed some of the pink paper you see in the background.
